Homeless Women's Shelter

The purpose of this program is to provide a safe shelter environment for homeless women and their dependent children that will support their efforts to achieve self-sufficiency.  Through case management, all residents are offered individual time, resources and tools they need to address the causes of homelessness and provide encouragement to reach realistic goals as established in HSP's service agreement with the client.

Who may be eligible?

Homeless women 18 years or older and their dependent children

Requirements/Guidelines to Apply

  • Must be homeless

  • Primary resident must be 18 years or older

  • Resident must be physically and mentally able to care for their personal needs and those of their children

  • Must be drug and alcohol free while living in the shelter

  • Must sign and abide by shelter guidelines

  • Maximum stay is 12 weeks

  • Must pay a fee based on available monthly income
