Supportive Housing Program

The Supportive Housing Program (SHP) provides support services to homeless individuals and families as they develop their independence while simultaneously working to secure permanent housing and attain self-sufficiency.  Case management and housing counseling services are provided to individuals and families while in shelter and after moving into permanent housing in an effort to maintain residential stability and integrate clients into the Carroll County Community.

The program goals are to assist clients in obtaining and remaining in permanent housing, to increase skills and/or income, and to achieve greater self-determination.  Program goals are also based on being flexible and responsive to the needs of the client.

Who may be eligible?

Homeless men or women 18 years or older and homeless families

Requirements/Guidelines to Apply

  • Must be currently residing in an HSP Shelter

  • Must be planning to live in Carroll County after leaving HSP Shelter
