Second Chances

The purpose of this program is to provide furniture, household goods and clothing primarily to shelter "graduates", but items are available to all Carroll County residents with a demonstrated need. Second Chances is run in partnership between HSP and Change, Inc.  The shop is stocked entirely from donations and all items are free.

Open to Receive Donations

Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12 Noon and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., *Saturday by appointment only*

Open for Public Distribution

 - of clothing, shoes, toys, books (one bag per family) * Monday and Wednesday 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Who may be eligible?

  • Shelter "graduates"

  • Any Carroll County resident who has a demonstrated need
