Domestic Violence Safe House

The purpose of this program is to provide a safe shelter environment for women and their dependent children who are victims of domestic violence.  The Safe House is run jointly through HSP and Family and Children's Services.  In addition to a safe and nurturing shelter, the following services are provided; advocacy, counseling, court accompaniment (Ex parte and protective order hearings) and attorney referrals.

Who may be eligible?

Women and their dependent children who are current victims of domestic violence

Requirements/Guidelines to Apply

  • Must live or work in Carroll County

  • No current substance abuse
