Dads Works

Dads Works is a fatherhood program operated out of the Carroll County Family Center.  It is designed to reach men in the areas of basic fathering and family life skills.  The Dads Works program seeks to improve relationships between fathers and their children, and has something to offer both custodial and non-custodial fathers.  The program follows a curriculum that addresses interpersonal relationships and communication skills, self-esteem, parenting skills, decision making, finance management, responsibility, visitation and anger management.  Fathers are assisted in preparing for and obtaining employment so they are able to provide for themselves and their families.

Dads Works support group meetings are held from 10:45 a.m. to Noon on Wednesdays, and from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

Services are provided free of charge.

Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up with a supportive and involved Dad in his or her life.  The Dads Works program strives to strengthen families by strengthening fathers:  Helping Fathers Be Great Dads.

Who may be eligible?

  • Any father who wishes to become a better dad
